Captain Jack is Back!

Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest opens tomorrow (at midnight tonight actually) but thanks to the North Koreans, I'm too busy to take the morning off so I won't be making any midnight shows.
Don't.Get.Me.Started.
It's bad enough I had to spend half of my Fourth of July at work thanks to NK trying to steal our Independence Day and Discovery's successful launch thunder, but making me miss Captain Jack is just plain rude. Anyway...I'll be fine. Really.
I have a fun few weeks ahead of me as tomorrow will bring the first of four friends to the LA area. Quite strange really; no one has been here for ages (since the Nice's stopped off on their way to NZ way back in January and I don't count G's 25-30 mintues on the ground at LAX as "being here"). First up is Karen in town from Dallas; she's an absolute riot so it'll be great to see her again. The week after that it's T and Mary in town for stopovers on journeys elsewhere. Last up is Mila driving in from CO with her family to take in some of the amusement parks. Mila's an old Navy pal and boy have we had some good times (course those stories won't be discussed in front of the kids)! Then, just over a month from now I'm off to the jolly ole UK for Sarah and Simo's wedding which I'm sure will result in an international incident. Eh, what the heck...it'll give INTERPOL something to do. Here's a photo of one of the night's Mila led me astray:

Other than Mila, everyone else in the photo will be at Sarah's wedding, but I'm almost positive we won't get to wear dressing gowns (until the ceremony is over at least).
Hope everyone is doing well. It's been great to hear from so many of you. This blogging thing is pretty cool!
